Or in some cases, bare-faced smugness. This is more important than ever when you aren’t blessed with the torso of Brad Pitt and the finances of David Beckham.

They say the opposite sense like a good sense of humour, but more importantly than that, they like a man who is sure of himself. An example of self-confidence that has always worked for this writer is the old ‘free drinks’ approach.

Now traditionally a man saddles alongside a girl at a bar, engages in awful small talk for a few minutes, and then offers to buy her a drink. However this often depends on the girl being by herself in a bar or a club– which they very rarely are.

Instead break the ice immediately by going straight up to a group of ladies and enquiring whether they’d be interested in a round of free drinks. This writer has never met a group of girls that don’t appreciate a free round of vodka and cokes and if you are with mates, they’ll appreciate the ballsiness of your move as well as the sudden presence of female company.

All in one swift move, you have displayed self-confidence, the fact that you are possibly the ‘alpha’ in your group of friends (even though you might not be) and the fact that you aren’t cheap (which even if you are, they are not to know for a while–.).

Once the drinks are bought, conversation follows naturally and before you know it, you are all sat down enjoying the rest of the evening and you have sealed your reputation as a smooth, confident ladies’ man.

A friendly tip: Do not use this on a group of more than four girls. You quickly find your funds for the evening diminish before you can even glance at your garmin running watch again...

Avoid These Mistakes When Internet Dating

The Internet offers many single persons great opportunity because from the comfort of your own home you may meet people from all over the world. Internet dating sites are now very popular, and there is a match for everybody out there if you listen to what many of they promise users. However, you must be careful and take a few cautionary measures, and avoid exposing yourself and personal details to those who will harm you in one way or another.

Especially during the first few conversations with the respective person, do not mention your address, your family status, your income and other such aspects about yourself and your life that a stranger should not know about. Let some time pass, have multiple conversations online, even video chatting, just be careful with the details.

If you take online dating seriously, and you truly want to find the perfect match, then you should avoid falling into the other extreme: lying. This, is a common issue among people who chat online, because they have the opportunity of becoming who they want and of looking how they wish by posting a fake photo. You should try to present yourself in a balanced manner, not telling the whole truth regarding your personal details, but also staying away from major lies. It is not beneficial, and you will definitely not be able to find yourself the partner of your dreams.

Have several chat sessions before you actually give out your phone number. You can easily wake up being harassed by people whose sole target is to steal personal information and harm you. If the person you chat with is patient enough, and can wait even for weeks until you switch numbers, he/she has probably a genuine interest in you. If, on the other hand, the person is very impatient to find out your address, phone number and other personal details, you should most likely look elsewhere for an eventual partner. These are very simple rules and codes of safety you should always remember when you are about to enter an adult dating site.

But do get out their and do it. These warning are just precautions, it really is a fantastic way to meet people rather than the randomness of bar or sitting on your
used sofa hoping the next pizza delivery person is female. Never has is been easier to find the exact person, who shares your interests.

Dating In London When You're New To London...

Imagine the scene: you have never been to London before and in your mind is the idea, no, the entirely plausible dream, that finding a date will be simple and easy. After all, London is enormous isn’t it? How hard can it be to find someone? Surely at every turn there could be a potential date waiting to go out with you, right?

Well...yes, in theory you would be right. But then again, in theory it should be easy to find your way around London if you’ve never been before but...well, you get the picture. There are almost more people in one place in London than there are grains of sand in one place in various parts of Britain, too, so you would think that would improve your chances. But let’s just slow down and think about this now...this is London we are talking about, so you may have to refine your tactics slightly.

One of the major problems with finding a date in London is that a lot of people in London, purely out of conditioning, are in a world of their own and don’t like talking to strangers (anyone who is not them, a relation, or someone they know quite well). That’s not to say they might not look at you and think You look nice, it’s more that it’s extremely unlikely they are going to say it out loud. As anyone knows, getting a smile from someone on a tube is worthy of an Olympic medal, so with that in mind you can imagine that actually speaking to someone about anything remotely date-related – ask someone on the tube for directions and you’ll see just how hard it is to get someone to speak to you in any capacity – is potentially about as likely as losing weight on a diet of pizza and chocolate and beer.

The best thing you can do is be brave about it. You may find that some people are reluctant to talk, but who knows? You may also find that you meet that certain special someone.

Another way to improve your chances is to look online. There are several dating / friends websites other than Facebook which provide Londoners and people who are new to London with ways of meeting potential dates and friends in a pleasant and safe environment. And who knows, a couples trip to chalets val d isere may be on the cards for you Londoners yet...

For BBWs, (also known as Big Beautiful Women), finding romance can be tough, especially online. Just visit any site offering online personals. Around 95% of them will talk about how much they don’t want women who are overweight. And, if a BBW responds to them, more than likely her email will get ignored.

So, what can a BBW do? Should she rush right out to a cosme store and buy a miracle product? There are some options, some genuine treatments that can help to reduce weight fast. Both liposuction and things like smart lipo are now well used safe proceedures that many people do use. But what if a BBW doesn't want to do these things? People who are insensitive to weight issues say she should eat less and exercise more. If she does these two magic things, she will become worthy of a man’s affection.

Well, while maintaining a healthy weight is important, a man must accept a woman as she is. That’s why single BBWs shouldn’t wait until they’re a size 6 to find a man. Instead, they need to exert confidence right now, and seek romance even if the dating world seems more daunting.

Of course, there are venues that may make BBWs more comfortable. BBW dating sites are an example. These sites connect BBWs with men who don’t mind dating heavier women. Some even prefer it.

Yet, what about people who say that these men are just “chubby chasers” looking for easy sex? Well, while such men are on these networks, there are also men who are more genuine. Besides, even regular dating sites have men who only desire one night stands. The only difference is that they want their date to fit society’s definition of thin and beautiful.

However, I don’t want to give the perception that BBWs can’t find love on traditional dating sites either. In fact, if they respond to enough personals, eventually numbers win. They just have to stay persistent and treat their romantic life as seriously as they would anything else.

In conclusion, don’t think that just because you’re a BBW you can’t find romance. With online dating sites and BBW networks, you have the advantage of communicating with many men at a time. And, if one man doesn’t take you, I guarantee you there will be another one out there– you just have to respond to their profile.

How to Stay Safe When Dating Online

What are the best venues for meeting people, when you’re a busy professional? Pubs and clubs tend to attract those interested in one night stands, while speed-dating may seem awkward to some people. So beyond church socials and other community events, that leaves a third option– Internet dating.

With Internet dating you get an opportunity to get to know a person before you actually meet them in real life. And, all of your communications can be done around your schedule, right in the comfort of your own home.

However, some people get a false sense of security when they start dating online. They feel as if they ‘know’ the person, when in reality the individual is still a stranger. That’s why you must still keep things safe when you meet Internet dates in real life.

You can start this process by email marketing yourself. Get to know the person via email first. Then you can proceed by making calls through an unlisted telephone number. Many telephone companies will offer this service for a minimal charge, but if not you could call from a pay phone. Either way, when you call from an unlisted number, the person on the other end can’t trace your address.

As far as your first meeting, always do it at a public place where there is security around. Undergroud train stations are an excellent example. Just make sure you choose stops that have malls or restaurants nearby, so you and your date will still have something to do.

You can make things even safer if you have a friend come along. This may spoil the mood somewhat, but if a person has reasonable intentions they should be understanding. If they aren’t, they might be out for easy sex, or something devious. Of course, usually it’s the former, but in today’s world you can’t always be sure. Regardless, trust your own judgment. If a person is really into you, they will be patient and stick by you even if they don’t agree with your concerns.

Top Five Tips for Keeping Your Man

A lot of girls think there is this ridiculous, hidden secret for keeping their man happy. Women go out and get liposuction, boob jobs, and laser hair removal to keep their man “content.” What many fail to realize is that keeping your man is simple and there is no ancient secret. It is all based on common sense.

Treat your man how you would want to be treated. The Golden Rule! Would you want to be nagged to death to do something? No! So why do it to your man?Would you want to be interrupted while speaking? No! So don’t do it to him.

Let him have “boys night out” without question or suspicion. We often forget that it is not our job to mother our men. Until something happens to prove the contrary, your man should be free of suspicion or guilt when he chooses to have a boys night out. He is a grown up and should be free to make grown up decisions without consequence from his partner.

The little things count. Making his favorite food, cleaning up his place, even buying him a little something counts for a lot! Sure, there is no reason all the housework should be on us. But helping him out with some little tasks as a surprise shows him you care enough to try and make his life easier.

Don’t smother him.You do not have to be all over your man all the time to let him know you care. Women tend to be a bit clingier than men. Physical affection is great but people have different love languages. If you are all over him all the time, it comes off as needy.

Have self-confidence. There is nothing more unattractive than a woman who is down on yourself. You are only as beautiful as your inside and no liposuction or botox can improve that.If your man sees that sparkling self-confidence in you, he knows that you are strong enough to survive on your own. This makes men want to hold onto us most of all!

Dating into the Hoods

So I had a date lined up with a dancer. She a pro dancer too! For security, her name will be changed to protect from embaresment(!), but for this article let us call her Jo (which is almost a boys name so really does protect her!).

'Jo' is beautiful. I mean really beautiful. She is also, talented, creative and alot of fun to be around. In terms of ticking the boxes of being good girlfriend material, she ticks them all and then some. Even more that this - she is a cheerleader. Even more than that, she is a cheerleading coach! I'm talking about flips, stunts and the uniform to boot. All in all she really has got it going on.

So after six months, I manage to arrange a date and a time to go out. Now dating in London has both many advantages which are also disadvantages. Prymarily, there is loads to do which is both good and bad! Much of it also costs alot, so you kinda end up being judged on your wealth on the first date by where you choose to take someone. So I did what any keen guy would do, I tried to pull some strings in order to do something cool.
After seeing it advertised on a few banner stands I managed to arrange to go and see "Into the Hoods" in London. It is a Hop Hop dance show, and it is GREAT! It is a really good night out, and I would highly recomend it to anyone. It also makes for a good first date setting. The show encourages the audience to shout out, cheer and get involved, which means you are participating in the show, not just watching it. As a choice, I thought that from all the london dating options I had, it was a good one. It turned out to be a great one.

We went, had a great time, she loved the show and I came out on a real high from it. Everything seemed to be going really smoothly... till she ran away. It litterally ended as suddenly as that. One minute I'm walking her to the station, the next minute she was gone.
I don't really know what to say now, it ended so suddenly that I'm still a little in shock by the whole thing. I really thought that it was going well... how wrong I can be.
So there we go. I have no moral from this, only really that it goes to show that you can never really know whats going on until the power of retrospect kicks in.

The Shannon Matthews Case Thickens!

What’s the real story about what happened to young Shannon Matthews? This story is taking more twists and turns than a soap opera plot! Will we ever find out the truth of what happened? Why is her mother involved? What will the impact of this be on other children who go missing and how the police (and of course the media) treat their parents? Will it turn out that following a serious face lift operation that went wrong, the mother is infact the long lost sister?

Are the police implying that the mother is somehow responsible for what happened? She did maintain all along that she felt Shannon was alive; does this mean she knew for a fact that Shannon was alive? Why hide your own child? Why would anyone go through that kind of media attention knowing what would be the outcome once the truth was revealed? It’s like one of those crazy Hollywood movies that have a completely unbelievable plot. I'm genuinely waiting for one of the people in it to turn out to be someone else having disguised themselves with some serious cosmetic surgery. Or perhaps for the long lost 'real' husband to come out of the woodworks.

What concerns me is how Shannon herself is doing. Her face has been across the media for weeks, and now her mother’s being held in custody as part of the investigation into her disappearance. At some point she’s going to have to return to something of a normal life at school – although with the charges facing her family members it’s hard to say where she’s going to be living. I hope she’s got the inner strength to deal with all this as something that happened and is over, and can move on with her life rather than have it ruin the potential she had to make a success from her life. This could be largely related to the kind of support she has around her once the dust settles and I hope that the people who are given the task of rebuilding this little girl’s confidence and life can do so leaving as few scars from this incident as possible.
On a positive note.Lynn has completely re-designed the liposuction Brentwood pages

A date at the markets

One of the more under rated sights in London are its market places. And what better place to take out your new date than a trip to some of London’s top haggle havens. There is a market for every type of person and for every date. Most of all, they are a great way in which to spend a Sunday, getting to know someone a little bit better as well as a great way to see the city at work.

And now the winter has set in, there is a real earthy feel to the markets of London. Like stepping back in time. Seeing the smoke come off the chestnut grills and hearing the shouts of traders pitching their wares. Also the Christmas crowds have now left which leaves for some bargains to be had.

So where are the best markets to explore on a date? Well, probably the best place to start is in the East End, early on a Sunday. For there is nowhere else in London where so many markets are packed into such a small place.

First head to Columbia Road and to the famous flower market. The smells and sights of this fabulous market which stocks an array of flowers and other horticultural delights. And guys, be romantic, it is a great way to start off your date, buy her a flower. It will be appreciated on an early Sunday morning.

Nearby is Petticoat Lane, the famed clothes market. Forgot your hat, scarf or need a winter warmer, than this is the place to get it. A great range of eateries both from the stalls themselves and in the cafe’s that line the streets will also provide you with a breakfast to boost those flagging energy reserves.

A short stroll away lies Brick Lane. The lane itself is a fascinating collection of bric-a-brac and the brand new and as London’s most diverse flea market, it will stock just about anything you want. Whilst there I got chatting to the secretary, Jo who I have to say was quite beautiful. Now I’m not one to normally be very forward, and this was no exception but its seems I didn’t have to be. She was the one who asked me for my number! When I offered it to her she then refused because infact she didn’t really need it as she had access to my files. This is the point when my alarm bells started ringing, but me being me having had years of training from my morning alarm clock, i didn’t hear a thing and drifted right through them.

So I met up with her for a drink, and was having a pleasant enough date when she started telling me about the acne laser treatment that she’d had done and what an amazing difference it had made to her skin. This was of course a perfect opportunity to compliment her, so I did and hadn’t clocked that it was a strange thing to mention on a first date. As the conversation went on she started talking about the eyebag surgery that she’d also had done last week. Now I am a man, so I feel whilst this is all a little strange I need to remind you that she was really quite stunning. I was quickly finding out why she looked so good, but the fact remains that she did look great. So I went with this. It was only when she excitedly told me about the breast reduction in london she was having the following week that I really broke out of my male stupor and started to wonder what on earth she was on. It turned out that she was mad. Not only that, but she was obsessed with changing her appearance. You probably think that I’m exaggerating. I’m not, honestly. After another drink I found out her husband left her because of all the obsessive surgery she was having. She said it was because he was a skin flint and didn’t want to spend the money on her any more. I think it was because he didn’t want her to continually be changing herself for no real reason.

Needless to say I didn’t go on a second date with her – but I did later find out she was bit of a serial dater from someone in the office. Apparently she went out on a lot of first dates with clients who moved through, apparently all the ones she went with were rather well off and she knew that from their files. Most people thought she wanted a wealthy man to be comfortable, personally I just think she wanted someone who could fund her endless need for surgery.

Hunt for Love

A friend of mine is the arty type. She has been living in our fine city capitial now for just over a year and has been one approimately one date (with who turned out to be already attached). However last week she had a change in luck. She went on a UK treasure hunt with a company called Shoot experience, they run these weekend events where basically people sign up and are put into teams of three to four people, you are then required to run around london with your digital camera coming up with some of the most creative photos that answers the clues you are provided.

Have a look at some of the results here. The great thing is by the end of the day She had two different guys phone number both of which were highly eligatable and had loads in common with her. Good going.

These outing work well, becuase different from the usually dating scene you have something else to thing about rather than having the big question hanging over your head 'DO I fancy them?'. You can enjoy coming up with clever photographys and chat and hang out in a low stress enviroment. Also you get a quite certain type of person is attracted to these events, the more artistic laid back people.

I have checked out shootexperience website and they do a whole number of events ranging from photography competitions to team building events but personally I think they have missed a trick, running these events just for single could become the next speed dating!

Winter Dating

Now that Christmas has come and gone, the remainder of winter seems bleak to those thinking of where to go on a date. For all the crowds and fun that was Christmas has long passed and all that remains are the short cold days until spring.

But this is London and the city does not hibernate and nor should your budding relationship. For now is one of the best times in which to enjoy the capital for all that it has to offer. The children have returned to school, the streets are devoid of tourists and all around the fresh winter air will keep many of the crowds indoors, which means more for you and your date to enjoy! So come on, grab that new found person in your life, and explore some of the best that London has to offer, for what remains of the rest of winter.

Seats at the theatre, opera or cinema are there for the taking. And now that the commercialism of Christmas is over, the more artistic offerings are now on show. Those great films from year’s festivals, the acts from the fringes or the touring companies all show what’s new during these winter months. Now is the time that these venues are appealing to the connoisseurs of great art in which to attract their audiences. Time for you to take advantage.

Not only that, but restaurants now fling open their doors for the winter season. After all the partying in December, many people will not frequent an eatery for the next few months. Which leaves more room for the both of you. It also allows some unabashed indulgence to establishments that are often booked out during the rest of the year. Go on, treat yourselves!

And why not try some outdoor pursuits during these winter months. Be sensible, wrap up warm and enjoy some of the fantastic parkland that London has to offer its inhabitants. After all, where else is there a better place in the city, in which to get to know that someone new in your life? A clear winter’s day is a perfect place in which to see something new in both the city and in your date...
The company has just come up with a new scheme, now anyone can get treatment at a cosmetic surgery clinic with a hefty discount. Oliva should probably do us all a favour and take advantage of it! Good luck to her!

The first phone call

The phone. Some cannot live without it, others call it the bane of their existence. Love it or loathe it, nine times out of ten, a phone call will inevitably be needed in which to communicate with that someone new on the horizon. However, the politics of the phone call are fraught with difficulty. And the first phone call is the one that frightens people the most. How exactly do you go about making that all importannt first contact?

Do you call that person tomorrow or should you wait a couple of days. Is it best to be casual or is keenness the way forward. A week is too long, but what is the correct time. Then again, who should call first? Who agreed to do the phone call. Should you phone back, in case that person forgot your number or lost it somewhere?

With the advent of mobile phones, the problem gets a lot worse. Do you text of phone that person. Texting is easy, less embarrassment of having to talk to them. But, did that person receive your text, did you type in the right number? Or maybe that person just sees that text as something casual, and doesn’t get the message. Maybe I should phone them.

Missed calls. Ah, when first starting out, you could spend your whole life flicking through your phone, checking every five minutes to see if you have received a call from the phone number you were meant to hear from yesterday.

Then comes the dreaded voicemail. Out of all the modern day menaces to add to the minefield of making that first phone call, the voicemail box is probably the one that sticks out like a sore thumb. If you skip the voicemail box, then you are registered as a missed call. Does that person have your number? Or may that person has diverted you to voicemail in order to avoid speaking to you. Ah, what do I say, that ‘beep’ really unnerved me.

So I wonder, what happened before the advent of the telephone? People probably just asked each other out. Sigh and think of those simpler times, when everything was a little more straight forward...
Kevan has IM'd me asking if we can go over the pet insurance UK part. I just don't think it's worth our time to... But hey, nothings ever going to change anyway, yeah!?

A new partner for Christmas

The Christmas period is upon us and you have recently started dating. So begins a complete political mine field before the relationship has even got off the ground. The first Christmas together is always something tricky, but how about a Christmas and New Year fur those that have just started dating? It is even worse. There are so many unwritten rules that bar the way for a simple festive season.

For starters, the big question of where to spend Christmas Day itself. Is it too soon to spend it with your partner or should you stick to tradition? Going back to your own family, instead checking the phone all of Christmas to see if you have missed a call from your new found partner. Then there is the week between Christmas and New Year. Often, this is the time when you catch up with friends and see the remainder of the family that you have avoided so far. So where does that leave the quality time for yourselves as a couple? Finally comes New Year’s You may have had plans, but now having a partner changes everything. Do your plans get blown away in the winds of passion, or should you try to accommodate the latest addition to your social calendar? The Christmas period with a new partner is one very stressful time for all involved.

Come January 2nd, everything returns to normal. Suddenly, all the fuss over Christmas and New Year vanishes as if the event never happened. All the festivities and frolics from the past month are hidden. The only thing to look forward to are three more months of winter...

So, if you are just starting out on the road to love, don’t worry too much about your plans around the Festive Season. After all, once everyone has gone back to their own lives, you have a good six weeks in which to explore the possibilities with your other half. And it is far better to have great company in time for Valentine’s. After all, as everyone knows, that is the date in the year which is far more stressful in which to be a new couple.

Coffee?

Asking someone out can be a tricky thing. Where do you go and what do you do are all important. But of course, the most nerve racking thought is whether or not the other person in question actually reciprocates those feelings. Often we have grand plans but usually the casual question of ‘do you want to grab a coffee sometime’ does the trick. A drink suggests a lot and a rebuttal for that is often as good as a proverbial kick to the ego. Coffee is casual. That’s the way it should be. A small cafe somewhere, in a fairly cool location, coffee can be done morning, noon or night and so, meeting for a coffee can seem like a casual request to extend or pursue a relationship. And a rejection can be smarted off as barely a paper cut to my own emotions.

And there lies the rub. Does everyone turning up for coffee know what they are pursuing. The fact that everyone has now become so casual in asking each other out on dates, do we really know that we are on a date or just grabbing a cup of coffee. There have been many times when I have sat with a someone special at my favourite coffee house wishing for more and yet not being able to pursue anything beyond the first caffeine tainted sip of ‘platonic’.

We are casual due to rejection but that same risk averse nature has actually left us more confused. Coffee is meant to mean something, right? But often, while travelling to that cafe, I am in a state of anticipation. What will this cup contain? What will come forth when I put it to my lips? Will the taste be one that is sweet or bitter and harsh to the throat? It would be so easy to add a little sugar to the mix, but who dares in today’s non-offensive world?

I guess rejection has to be taken as part of the whole dating process. Sometimes coffee leads to just a glass of water. Or sometimes to a whole chocolate cheesecake! But I still like to taste something milky when I join someone for a cup of that aromatic blend. Hey, do you want to grab a cup of coffee sometime?

What to do on a first date?

There are many different activities in which to partake on a first date. All have their pros and pitfalls, but where and when is the best place to go. Well, that depends on the personality of the people involved as well as how you both met up. So here is a quick guide to where to go on that all important first meeting.

A Bar:

A great location to start off with, if especially you are meeting a blind date. It is a public place and so safety is a big plus point. If you pick the right bar, you will be able to get somewhere classy or somewhere on week night could mean that you are treated to some live music. Always a safe option.

A Coffee Shop:

My personal favourite, as I am a chatterbox. Usually fairly quiet, so it is a great place in which to know someone’s personality. And the sobriety of the beverages allows you to gauge a person with a little more reality. Something great in which to kick off a long-term relationship.

The Movies:

Very teeny, but I do love going to a cinema. There are two ways to make this kind of a date work. Choose a great movie and have a long walk afterwards to chat about the film. This is one for the film buffs. Or just go and do the old fashioned way and head for the back row...

Restaurant:

Meeting someone for a meal takes some preplanning, so this is not really a great option for someone you have just met. It is probably a little better for someone you already know, such as taking a friendship to the next level. There are a lot of politics that surround the date in a restaurant. Does the guy pick up the bill or do the couple ‘Go Dutch’. The type of food that you eat or even the clothes that you wear. But there is something about a restaurant, it impresses and you satisfy the basic urges of food.

A Stroll:

Simplicity. Meet up and go for a long walk. I suppose all good dates involve a walk somewhere. It is basic and there is nothing to hide from one another. The stroll is unpredictable, you just don’t know where you’re going, just like a first date and just like a relationship. While it is simple in its stimuli, a walk with your date can often be the most satisfying first date as you are letting the evening take its course naturally. What better way in which to begin something a little deeper.

A place in London for a first date.

London is not really known for its romantic settings. Unlike Paris or New York, London does not really have something iconic such as walking hand in hand underneath the Eiffel Tower or Ice Skating outside the Rockefeller Centre. In the movies or anywhere else, London is usually gritty. So it can be quite hard to think of somewhere spectacular to go on that first date. Somewhere that offers long walks, a great view and a few fun dining options on the way. Luckily, Londoners have always had a little secret to impress their first dates.

Welcome to the South Bank, the best place in London to get to know someone a little better. The lack of traffic means that there is enough stillness in the air to have a conversation. The open, well lit riverside gives a beautiful vista to all the attractions across the river - Parliament, St Paul's and The Tower. It is easy to start and finish the walk at any point as the tube runs close by on both sides of the river. And dotted along the way are eateries from the simple to the flash. If there is one place in London on which to take a date, this is the place to come.

Where to start? Why, where else but under the Clock at Waterloo. A time honoured tradition, particularly for those arriving south of the river. Then a quick gauntlet over York Road and the Thames lies ahead of you. If you are feeling fancy, then catch a show at the theatre or a great film at the National Film Theatre? Or why not treat someone special to the London Eye or a meal in the Oxo Tower. And for those wanting just a little bit of conversation, try a coffee shop, there are plenty to choose from.

All will give you one thing to do. A means to start talking. Away from the hustle of the city, but close enough to the bustle to be accessible, London’s South Bank provides an ideal place to get to know someone a little better. Whether day or night, the appeals of this little segment of the riverside provide the fertile ground in which to start something that could be a little more fun. And of course it is a secret that Londoners have kept under their belts for quite sometime.

There is a chain of clinics that our campany has made a deal with. We now get discounts on all <A

HREF='HREF='http://www.Courthouseclinics.Com/treatments.Asp'>Cosmetic non-surgical treatments, london based clinics only. Well lets face it, we can't all be as beautiful as I am!

The Top 5 - Cosmopolitan Capital

For me, one of the things I love most about London is its cosmopolitan nature. And of course, due to its nature, there are fairly good odds that you could be dating someone from a completely different part of the world to yourself. This is an advantage in itself, exploring multicultural London. It makes the dates a bit more interesting, you get to sample some great food and it gives something new to the relationship. So here are my top five districts in the Cosmopolitan Capital:

5) New Malden - Korea Town

This suburb in the Royal Borough of Kingston may not seem like much to the average outsider, but it is actually home to the largest Korean community in Europe. A walk along the High Street will take you past great family run restaurants serving the treats from Kimchi to Korean Barbecue. Spicy treats for the tastebuds!

4) Stockwell - Little Portugal

A line starting in Vauxhall down the South Lambeth Road, round to Stockwell Road and emerging on the other side of Brixton on Coldharbour Lane that is filled with little Portuguese eateries. Perfect for a quick lunch or a more hearty meal in the evening, do not forget to try a few Pasteis de Nata with your midmorning coffee.

3) Upton Park - South India

The busy Green Street is home to a thriving market place as well as some of the finest food to emanate from the South of the Subcontinent. Remarkably different from the usual fare served in a curry house, the use of spices such as cinnamon, cloves and fennel add to the flavours of the food used. The shops and stalls nearby are also filled with gold and silks in the >London thoroughfare.

Some information about Ringworm (Skin Disease)

Ringworm is a contagious fungal infection of the skin and can exist anywhere on the body. It generally is a reddish to brownish raised or bumpy patch of skin that may be lighter in the center, giving the appearance of a 'ring'. It generally occurs on the skin that is moist, hot, and hidden from the light like feet & groin.

It is very common in children and spread by skin-to-skin contact. When ringworm is found in the nails or on the scalp the infection is much more difficult to eliminate. Prolonged treatment with a prescription oral anti-fungal medicine (as well as other topical medicines) is usually necessary. Scalp ringworm is a major cause of hair loss, and should be treated aggressively.

Appearance of one or more red raised itchy patches with defined edges is a clear symptom of ring worm. If the infected area involves the scalp or beard area, then bald patches may become evident. The affected area may become itchy for periods of time. If the nails are affected, they may thicken, discolor, and finally crumble and fall off.

This article was written by Emily Stevenson, she regularly contributes to Idle tymes . It's part of a 'compilation cd' of games, you know where they give you medium short life games, but they give you 10 of them so it doesn't matter too much.

Well this game - I think I've become obsessed! Me and my mate now play it every day for 20minutes, we have to set a timer on his phone otherwise we end up on it for hours. Its ridiculous! All you do is from level to level have to blow up the other tanks, but we can't seem to get past a certain level, and it takes a while to get to that level. There are no 'extra lives' so as soon as you die you have to go back to the beginning and work up to it again. It is SO frustraitingly good! If anyone knows what I'm talking about here and knows any good tactics please let me know... If you've never played it before understand this. It's addictive - go in with your eyes open!!

We're about to have our 10 year annual review by the senior partners, and to 'celebrate' the company is offering to pay 80% of the costs of going to a laser tattoo removal clinic for any employee who has a visible tatoo! Drink a cup of milk every day, and also combine milk with ingredients like almond meal and rose water.

Get plenty of quality rest each night. Keep your bedroom cool, dark and comfortable and sleep on cotton or linen sheets. Get to bed early and awaken early for clear healthy skin and sparkling eyes.

When you feel stressed, angry or frustrated, your skin will show it over time as furrows and small lines and breakouts. Practice calming yoga poses or meditation to stay serene and help your body and mind manage stress. Diffuse essential oils, such as rose, sandalwood and lavender to keep mind and heart balanced. Walk on the beach or through a cool shady garden.

The sun can increase sebum production, causing your skin to look oily on occasion. When the oil combines with dirt and sweat, pores get clogged. Be meticulous about your cleansing routine, morning and night. Use a non-soap based gentle cleanser that will deep cleanse without drying out the skin. A good cleansing mix for dry/normal skin can be made with almond meal, oatmeal, milk and rosewater. For oily skin, try chickpea flour (found in Indian grocery stores) or oatmeal with yogurt and a little lemon and neem powder. If you use a toner, look for one without alcohol.

This post was submitted by Dan Polglase. The thread went on for days going around in circles mainly because chrishirst refused to back up his point with any real evidence. He totally believed that:

the PR value of any page is NOT reduced by outgoing links

If you read the thread here, you can see what I'm talking about. The line of though was maddening, even though I (nixies) had back up every point with evidence he still refused to admit that thier maybe the smallest chance that the employee at google may be clever than him.

The thread hinged on this point; He could not get his head around how if the equation was based on incoming links how could outgoing links reduce the amount og Page Rank.

We repeated the same points for ages, I tried to exaplin the way the equation worked.

There are a few things that need to be understood when figuring out how the Page Rank calculation works:

The green bar shown on the toolbar is just a label given to a page depending on the group that the actual page rank falls into.

The equation is repeated multiple times.

Each time the calculation is done it is done from scratch; no prior Page rank is worked in the equation.

The calculation is done for each individual page not site.

This is how it can be though about. Bear in mind this is a simplification (also if you look at the actual equation the specifics are wrong, it designed to make it easier to understand like went you find out that everythign you learnt in GCSE physic was all a lie when you do A Level Physic).

At the begining of the equation each index page is given a value of 1; part of the pagerank is given as a vote which is devided between all the pages that it links point to. So a new page rank is calulated. Usually everyone is okay with this bit, pagerank is made up of vote from your inbound links.

This is where it gets tricky, the calculation is then repeated starting with the new values, so the pervious pagerank that has been gain on pervious calulation can be passed on. The Calulation is repeated lots of times. So since you divide your vote between the pages that you link to, if you give all your vote to pages that link back to you on the next vote (calulation) you are going to end up with more page rank than if you would have linked to a lot of pages that do not link back to you.

So that is the main point if you link out of your own website, to a website that does not link back to you. The pagerank is not coming back to your site so you are going to drain/leak/lose pagerank.

What effect page rank has on how well your site is ranked? Well that is a completely different question.

What about various groovy stuff I found whilst surfing. Just another plug for a friend of mines site a Injured and orphaned wildlife reserve. Every fancied getting some plastic surgery done? "My current estimate is that we're starting tomorrow."

After 5 season the show was canned because the television run of the show was rather unsuccessful, however the DVD sales was a completely different situation they were so huge that their was a cry to recommission even if it was just for the DVD sales. The final episode was left at a strange point with it implying that Fry's long-standing wooing of Leela was finally over. This suggested that the story was complete. Everybody isn't sure she shoudl join, they want me to be the person who tells her that she can't join because none of them want to be the bad cop.

I'm not really sure what to do, I've already told them that Sam can't join. But Valeria can improvised and she has improvised with us before . The thing is I'm not sure if she is what we need. the thing is their is only one space left in the group so we don't want to waste our chance, and Valeria isn't that complimentary, she plays a very similar role to Richard and Devon they funcation as extras and add very little.

Still got my daily dose of webrubbish.

"It was a perfect marriage. In a recent study doctors have connected taking marijuana to cardiac arrests and heart attacks!

Now it has taken them long enought.
