The Best Places in London To go On An Action Date

A great alternative to the standard “dinner and a movie” date that have becoming boring and repetitive, is to go on an action date, which has gained in popularity in recent times. It is a great way to offer a unique experience, which is the key to a memorable occasion, and will no doubt allow your date to remember you for some time to come.

Start your date slowly with a nice walk through Hyde Park. This is a great way to have some time to begin casual chit chat, without delving too deep into each other’s personal life. You can get comfortable with each other by means of nice nature walk.

Make your route head towards Serpentine Lake. If the weather allows it, you may want to go for a nice swim; however, if the water is too chilly, stay above water level. A good idea is to rent a row boat and go out into the lake. This way you and your date can have the privacy and quiet atmosphere to get to know each other better. But don’t just row yourself; both of you should row together to add to the fun.

After a good row, walk through Hyde Park to loosen the muscles. A great idea if you are not hungry and don’t want to sit down yet, try heading to the numerous pool halls the surround Hyde Park. Have a few drinks and play a few games to build up your appetite.

For dinner, since you’re in the area, visit Galvin at Windows on the 28th floor of the Hilton hotel. If you’re up to it, climb all 28 storeys on foot! Avoid the lift.

An action date should be taken if you’re an athletic and fit person. If not, a traditional date is probably a safer bet. If you are an active and athletic couple, an action date is a great way to add spice to any relationship, regardless of the level. Speaking of crazy things with people that you dont know. I have just had a nose at the home page for team building event london that Christine has been working for. I must say that I am quite impressed with it, and I am digging the new pictures, you should all check it out.

Thanks for this! I've recently moved to London with work and this is really helpful! I've used Dating Services London with Lovestruck, as I just don't know that many people in the area, and the whole it's promising! Just got the actual dates next!

Hi,

I just stumbled on your blog whilst browsing the net. I organise networking events and am doing one on the 3rd of June in Central London geared towards single ladies. The event is going to focus on "telling it like it is "I have loads of female friends who moan about how hard it is to meet a normal nice guy and i think its time for men to be given a chance to put their point across. I cant pay you I'm afraid but can def get you dinner and a drink on the night. Please let me know if you are interested ( We would only need 1hr of your time) Hope to hear from you

Great feature! I run a website called www.thegreatdateguide.com where you can search for dates ideas under different catagories - one of them being action dates! In fact, one of our most popular suggestions is boating on the Serpentine so great minds must think alike!
