How to get noticed If You Are Single

When you’re single, sometimes it is difficult to have a member of the opposite sex notice you instead of someone else. Many single people find that the hardest part about finding someone new is inability to get seen. Perhaps you have noticed a guy but he hasn’t noticed you back. You have tried to flirt, but he doesn’t notice. You laugh at his jokes, but he just thinks he’s funny. What do you do to get noticed?

The key to getting noticed, whether you’re a man or a woman, is understanding basic social skills. Be honest, respectful, polite, and direct.

Here are some helpful tips to get noticed if you’re single (if you’re married, I refuse to help you get noticed!). First, do you really like this person? Did you see him from across the club and now you want to meet him? If you’ve been attracted to the person for a while, then proceed.

Next, make sure you actually want their attention. If you just want to watch him from across the room, that’s one thing. If you’re infatuated with someone, make sure you want them to come over and talk to you. Don’t make any misleading acts.

Remember, be yourself. Don’t act the way you think they want you to act. Be true to yourself. It’s easier to develop a connection to someone if you’re truthful.

When you’re trying to get noticed, remember to look like you’re having fun. Smile! Nobody is going to notice the quiet person in the corner trying to look interested examining a house plant. Don’t roll your eyes. Don’t purse your lips. Have fun, because most people – men and women – find fun-loving people attractive.

Finally, try to get noticed without looking like you’re trying to get noticed. It is not attractive to be the table dancer, or the loud-talker. Get noticed on the sly. Try to get their attention without being too aggressive.

I agree with this! Just be yourself and try and make the most of it, to the point of selling it or making it highly desirable. This is exactly what I did on Lovestruck.com and although I don't have millions of messages and matches, those I do have are really quite suited to me!
