Mr Romantic

Now I know men will do anything for sex, and this story proves it.

I used to work behind a bar in my town, and for ages a guy used to come in and ask me out for a date, but I was in a relationship at the time, so I always turned him down. Eventually my boyfriend and me split up, and a few months down the line I decided to give this other guy a chance. I shall call him Pete (because that is his name). I was 19 at the time and he was 29. We went out for a drink in a nice little country pub, and just chatted about life and the universe, and clicked really well. He drove me home, gave me a little kiss in the car and was on his way.

He then came in a few nights later when I was working and asked if I fancied going to Bournemouth for the day as it was a really hot summer of July 2000, and so I agreed. He then phoned me the next day and asked if I wanted to stay overnight and he would book a hotel. I thought this was a but quick, but decided “What the hell!” He picked me up in his convertible and we drove down to Bournemouth to our hotel. I was expecting just a standard room, but he had booked the Honeymoon suite with the 4-poster bed and Jacuzzi. Now this guy obviously thought he was getting lucky! We dumped our stuff and he took me out for dinner, wined and dined me and provided me with great conversation and company, then we headed down the beach at night and sat watching the bright red moon spread the glow over the lapping oceans waves. It was the most romantic date I had ever had (remember I was only 19). We then went back to our room for the night, and the next day we headed back down the beach for a swim and sunbathing, before doing the usual crazy golf and just having such a laugh.

I had a lovely time, especially as it was only a second date – and it restored my faith that there are men out there who will make the effort to show a girl a good time. I will always remember him for that. We went out a few more times, but then I ended up getting back with my ex, so that was that. Game over.

As for the 4-poster bed and Jacuzzi? Well, it seemed a shame to waste them!

By the way how does an italy ski competition sound ?? You guys should really enter, you win some amazing prizes and it is for couples...who knows there may even be a four poster bed and jacuzzi!
